Alice in Wonderland the summary from Chapter 1 - Chapter 7

Alice became very board sitting by her sister on the bank. Her sister was reading a book with no pictures and no conversation . Alice thought there was no use to this.Suddenly she seen a white rabbit running to a rabbit hole. She followed it and fell down the hole.In the hole she seen everything you can imagine in a normal kitchen.Such as orange marmalade, jars and cupboards. She thought if she touched the ground she might have reached New Zealand but she wouldn't ask where she was , she would look for it written. Then Alice touched the ground where she saw the rabbit. She followed him into a corridor with loads of doors. In there she seen a glass table with a golden key on it . She picked it up, over the other side of the corridor was a small door.  Alice could not fit! So she put the key back on the table and drank the drink me botle next to it. It tasted of cherry-tart , custard etc...  Then she soon finished it. She started to shrink down to 10 inches high. She was the right height for the door. But she left the key away up high on the glass table. Alice started to cry & she noticed that there was a glass box under the table. Inside was a cake with eat me written in currants. She ate it and she soon finished it.

She started to grow and she thought how hard it would be to control her feet. She said she would have to write a letter to tell them how to work. Suddenly the white rabbit ran past with white gloves and a fan.She took the fan and gloves that he dropped when he got a fright ( he saw her !). After this Alice put the gloves on while she was talking , she must have been shrinking! Then Alice forgot who she was and tried to say a a poem but said it all wrong! All through this time Alice had been crying so by this time she made a pool of tears. She saw a mouse swimming in her tears and she swam after him. She tried to speak to him but then she thought he was french, so she spoke french. She mentioned CATS  in french so the mouse jumped . Alice said hastily " Oh sorry I forgot you didn't like cats". He made sly remarks.Alice started to boast about Dinah, her cat, and said " She so good at cathcing mice, you should meet her". The mouse and alice carried on arguing about cats and dogs. The mouse swam away and alice tried to pursuade it to come back. By this time the pool was full of creatures that were quite percuilar.

The all assembled by the back, all wet and cross. Everybody wanted to know how to get dry. So the mouse thought he'd try and help by telling them history to bore them dry. Sadly it didn't work as to many people interrupted. So the  dodo suggested them to have a Caucus race.Everyone started to run the Caucus race and there was no winner but also there was no loser. The dodo explained to them that noone would win they would all get a prize. So alice gave them all sweeties and there was not even one left for her. So the dodo said "Empty your pockets." Alice brought out a thimble, the dodo represented it to her as a gift .Soon later the mmouse told tale and alice interrupted him again so he ran away. Alice then told the others about dinah and they all went away.Suddenly Alice heard footsteps...

It was the white rabbit. He mistaked alice for Mary-ann, his maid. Alice was told to go get the rabbits gloves and fan. She ran to the rabbits house. In the rabbits room was drink me bottle and she drank it. It made her big again. By the time alice was the size of the room the rabbit cam back. He tried to get in his room but he couldn't as alice had her elbow pressed against the door. She tried to grab him.The rabbit went and got bill and pat to help him get in his house. The sent bill down the chimney and alice kicked him back up.They then threw stones in the window at alice which turned into cakes. They made her shrink back down to a small size. Alice quickly ran out of the house as fast as she could. She ran through a forest and came across a very large pupy. Now that alice was tiny it was indeed  a VERY large puppy.Alice threw a stick at it, the puppy was in such a rush to get it that the puppy ran head over heels. After a few games the pup was out of breath so it sat and panted this gave Alice time to run away untill the pups voice was far away. When Alice was far away she seen a large mushroom. She looked round it until she found a caterpillar with a hookah.

First Impressions on the LG Shine

The other day we were shown our new phone. Mrs.Vass got it for free!!WOW!! My first impression is, I want it!I can see why it's called LG *shine*.

How we are doing ? A school report

Introduction

For a while we have been interviewing teachers to so what they think about how we have been doing. We made videos and podcasts so we could write this now!We had to listen to them first.

The questions

When we interviewed them the first thing we asked was "Does this school seem to be a happy place for children and adults who work and study here?". They all answered yes. I interviewed Mrs sheerin and this is what she said " Yes , it's a very friendly place". All the teachers had a similar answer.

For question two we asked them "Are you pleased to be a teacher who is associated with this school?". Again all the teachers said yes. Mrs Nairn was another to be interviewed this is what she said "I am very happy to work here".Most teachers said that type of thing.

The next question was "Are the corridors bright and welcoming?" The teachers reply was always yes , thanks to Mrs Williamson , our art teacher.Mrs Nathaniel is a helper as well as a parent to our school so here's what she said "It is very bright , lots of wonderful work and effort."

The forth question was " Does the class work appear to be generally interesting?"

Our work is usually interesting and the teachers agreed. This is what Mrs Mitchell thought "Yes , there is a range of topics". Well there is alot of topics because we get new ones every few months.

The next question didn't have the best of replys. The question was "Does the building appear to be wind-proof and watertight?" Most of the teachers said sometimes. As we have leaks now and then . This is what Mrs Websters thought was "Well it's not water proof....".

The second last question was " Are the children polite?" But this one wasn't too much of a good reply either. Mrs Duff said " Well they are mostly polite."That's true as some of us need reminders on our behaviour,

The last question was " Do the teachers and adults in the school and parents seem to care about the children?" In my opinion they do, so do the teachers think that. Mrs Buick is new to our school and this is what she though "Yes there is definatley alot of parent involvement".

Conclusion

When we had finished we put the podcasts on the blog and then typed this report. Also we had to interview Mrs.williamson because every one admired the art work. She is a great art teacher.

THANK YOU

A report on a true story

For homework we had to find a news item and write a report about it for homework. I did a murder case.

This is what I wrote...

A hit and run case in Farnworht near bolton has gone into action.A 60 year old man has been arrested for the murder of Valerie Syddall.

Valerie is the mother of Kayleigh age 11 and Kelsey age 11 months. She is also partner of Damien Glynn.

An ambulance was called at Greenhill Avenue between 10:30 pm and 10:50 pm. She had serious injuries especially on the head.

When the 60 year old hit Ms.Syddall at a tremendous speed he drove off leaving her dying in the street.

When she got to the Royal Bolton hospital on Saturday, her family sat round her

bed. She later died on Sunday.

The case was this weekend and it has already got a suspect.

Earlier a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said "A 60 year old man from Bolton has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of 32 year of Valerie Syddall on Saturday December 2" Then the 60 year old was questioned in court.

Valeries sister was devastated and this is what she had to say" Val was a happy and fun-loving person. She will be sadly missed by all of the family. We can't understand why anyone would be so callous as to leave her at the side of a road. How can they live with themselves, knowing what they have done?"
